The Team Of The Royal Music Show

Honorary Team Member: Director and Moderation Helmut Jäger

For more than 30 years, Helmut Jäger was one of the "distinctive voices" of German radio and television. In almost 20 years, he hosted around 2,500 popular entertainment programmes on ARD.

As an officer in the German Armed Forces, Helmut Jäger presented the top military music orchestras from all over the world in around 100 major events and concerts. Many of these shows were shown live on German television.

His directing and presenting the "Deutschland Tattoo" contributed to the great success of these events.

On behalf of all those involved, it is with great gratitude that we release Helmut Jäger into a well-deserved retirement.

Producer Ulrich Lautenschläger

As a guest, Ulrich Lautenschläger was thrilled by the uniforms, the British military music and especially the young audience. Exactly this feeling, this thrill he felt watching and listening to "Trooping the colour”, is what he has brought to Germany.

Initially he realised his dream extremely successfully on the open-air stage at the Loreley, where he created the "Deutschland Tattoo - Royal Music Show", which he later presented in 2013 and 2014 in the Veltins Arena in front of a total of around 35,000 spectators. In the meantime, the glamorous show enjoys a high degree of popularity and is now also making its way to Kaltenberg, Magdeburg and Krefeld in addition to the Festhalle in Frankfurt.

"With its magical and emotional moments, the 'Deutschland Tattoo - Royal Music Show' is an absolute highlight for friends of British military music, top-class international show bands and pipes & drums," says the producer. "We make each of our tattoos a spectacular and perfect show for our audience - goosebumps included!”
